Project Overview
Brooke and Andrew wanted a clean, modern refresh focused on function and long-term durability. The work prioritized the spaces that impact daily life the most: an updated kitchen with a full cabinet replacement and improved lighting, refinished first-floor flooring to unify the main level, a guest bathroom refresh featuring a built-in drop-in tub with quartz deck surfaces, and an upstairs bathroom conversion from tub to shower with plumbing and fixture relocation.
Existing Conditions
- Kitchen: dated cabinetry and finishes; recessed lighting placement did not support key task areas.
- First floor: flooring finish was worn and inconsistent across main living spaces.
- Guest bathroom: needed a functional refresh and better entry layout; toilet orientation created an awkward door interaction.
- Upstairs bathroom: tub layout no longer fit the client's needs and required plumbing changes for a proper shower conversion and improved fixture placement.
